Robin Wright-Pierce​
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Robin Wright-Pierce is an award winning facilitator of individual and collective liberation with more than 15 years of experience cultivating institutional and social change. She has experience advancing policy and legislative change, building community power, electoral and ballot movements, design thinking and inclusive facilitation, research and advocacy, and field training and development. She is a trained mindfulness practitioner and skilled facilitator equipped in a multitude of modalities such as World Café, Art of Hosting, and Circle Way.
Robin is a thought leader. Her insight and perspective has been captured in NPR’s WBEZ Chicago, KCUR, and WVXU. Her wisdom has been captured in The New York Times, Diversity Issues in Higher Education, CityBeat and in the documentary This Changes Everything now available on Netflix. Recently, she was named one of the top 22 leaders in the country to learn from in 2022 by Bunch, a coaching company. Robin is a proud alumnus of The Ohio State University where she obtained her Masters of Public Administration from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, and Kent State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Pan-African Studies.
Rev. Nelson Pierce Jr.
Chief Political Strategist
Rev. Nelson Jerome Pierce, Jr. is the senior pastor of Beloved Community Church, and a Chief Political Officer with Transforming Change where he works to help leaders build power and create change.​ Rev. Pierce brings more than two decades of experience to Transforming Change. He has worked in senior leadership with national non-profits, built strategy, and advised on local, state, and congressional campaigns, ballot initiatives, and more.

Rev. Pierce has served as a national spokesperson for the Black Church Initiative, a project of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice. Rev. Pierce played a critical role in organizing clergy and young people in the aftermath of the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO for which he is recognized in a video tribute in the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture in Washington DC. Rev. Pierce is a proud alumnus of Eden Theological Seminary and Washington University in St. Louis.
